Our Story

Gifts and Graces is a not-for-profit Fair Trade advocate. It was created primarily, to bridge the gap between skilled but underserved communities all over the Philippines.

Gifts and Graces provides product development by exposing the artisans to the current trends and at the same time allowing for the preservation of heritage skills. The organization sees to it  that these products reach the proper markets.

Gifts and Graces advocates and closely adheres to the 10 Principles of Fair Trade in its engagements with both the makers and the consumers. Paying a fair price, not allowing for child labor practices and upcycling to reduce waste are but a few of the activities practiced by the organization. All final products tell a story. Gifts and Graces ensures that these stories about the products and the communities that crafted them are properly communicated to the consumer.

Our mission is to unleash the potential of Filipino women through authentic, thoughtful design. We connect Filipino artisans with consumers, while preserving and developing artisan skills and creating a base for sustainable social development.

Connecting Filipino Artisans with Consumers
We don’t just focus creating a product; we upgrade the products the artisans from our partner communities make by adding a design twist, and bring them to a platform where people can buy them.

Giving Livelihood to Partner Communities
We work very closely with our community partners and see to it that we are able to help uplift them from poverty by continuously providing sustainable source of income through constant orders.

Women Empowerment
We focus on the women artisans in our partner communities because we strive to empower the already hardworking individuals to become more confident in their skills, and to become more independent.
